Boys to Men: The Bold and the Beautiful Two Scoops for the Week of August 11-15, 2025

The Bold and the Beautiful

The Bold and the Beautiful's Luna Nozawa is all about the boys, according to Aunt Grandma Li, and it's just shameful. But is it any different than any other member of this fictional Los Angeles fashion scene? Brooke is all about a boy. And so is Taylor. One would think their boy is a man by now, but it's not looking that way, so pick up a scoop and let's dig in.

The more things change...

Knock us over with a feather, but it appears that Li Finnegan and Sheila Carter are becoming...friends. And the spaghetti isn't flying. That's certainly a switch. However, Luna? Welp, she's still Luna. In her mind, she is ready to pick up where she left off. She claims she is no longer violent and vengeful, but all she can think about is a boy. Li just doesn't get it. How can someone have a brush with death, be given yet another chance, but their mind just goes to some silly boy?

Because this is Luna, Li. She is as delusional as she has always been and thinks the guy she held at gunpoint will suddenly want her because why not? This dopey girl still shows absolutely zero remorse for her actions. She shot two people? Whoops! My bad. How many more chances can she get? Is she going to lock Aunt Grandma Li in a cage when she gets sick of Li Finnegan Boot Camp? We wouldn't put it past her. Luna has a boy to snag.

That nasty couch...ewww

We really thought that Electra was about to lose her virginity on that nasty couch where Hope and Thomas (and others) have had their design office fun. Will even looked in that direction as if he and Electra were about to make it over there. What a relief when Electra was still talking with Ivy about her virginity the next day. Close call there, Electra.

And Electra is also all about the boys, or at least the same boy that Luna is all about. But that boy? He's about to become a man. No, he didn't have his bar mitzah, but he's no longer an intern! His mother and aunt promoted him, so now Will is...we're not quite sure because they didn't say. But Will is not an intern! Yay! Let's throw a party!

Get ready, Electra, it's the night you've been waiting for. But don't be scared if your big night awakens the dead. Hmmm...

The big boys are home

Rival Marone brothers Ridge and Nick are back in Los Angeles and duking it out over destiny's child once again. Nick even tried to put a ring on it, but all she really wanted was for Taylor to take her ring off. And Ridge? He might be a grown man grandpa, but that inner boy will never leave.

But seriously, what kind of coward is Ridge? He didn't even go straight home to see Taylor before heading into the office to see Brooke. At the office, Brooke not-so-subtly reminded him that he had to explain some things to Taylor. So, we thought he was going to tell her about rescuing Brooke, still being in love with her, and wanting her back.

Instead, he made out with Taylor before even mentioning Brooke. Was he so stunned that Kelly was in Los Angeles and not with Steffy on vacation that he just clear forgot that he was not supposed to be making out with Taylor because he still loved Brooke?

As soon as Taylor mentioned she started planning their wedding, Ridge got super uncomfortable, but that wasn't going to deter Taylor. She is going to continue living in her little delusional fantasy world until Ridge finally cracks and tells her it's over. Who knows when that will be? Ridge might technically be a man, but he never stops acting like a silly boy.

Big man Bill

Dollar Bill is angry. Dollar Bill wants revenge. Dollar Bill will do anything for his son. And ya know what? Dollar Bill has been acting more like a man than any of the other men on this show of late.

Bill knows he made a mistake when he had that (literal) knockdown fight with Liam back in April. And he's owned up to it multiple times. 'Cause that's what real men do. Since then, he's done everything he can to step up for his son, including giving away a cool million with no research just to save Liam's life. And Dollar Bill doesn't even care about the cash. All he cares about is Liam. Bill has shown growth, something Ridge will never, ever show. Or so it seems. (Popeye Nick also doesn't show much growth. Sigh.)

As for Liam and Hope. Well, Hope sure likes smiling when she is around Liam these days. In fact, she can't keep her eyes off this boy. Maybe she should look down at the ring on her finger. Perhaps it will jar her memory so she remembers she is engaged to a conspicuously absent Carter.

Odds and Ends

We admit it. We kinda love the Sheila and her missing toe(s) gag. It never seems to get old. She loves showing off that three-toe foot, even if it horrifies prissy Li. At least Luna thought it was fun and just loved those toe cookies. Sheila Eight Toes is one of the best jokes on soaps, and the toe jokes never get old.

Also, please give Katie a storyline. And popping into Eric's mansion to taunt Taylor every few days is not it. That needs to stop because all it does is make the character into a busybody shrew.

Till next week, Scooper, when we are guessing Poppy's magic mints might come into play.

Catch all-new episodes of The Bold and the Beautiful weekdays on CBS and Paramount Plus.
