"Baldoni has tried to manipulate, threaten, control": Perez Hilton reveals Isabela Ferrer's lawyers' claims against Justin Baldoni

Isabela Ferrer's lawyers, as per new court documents obtained by Perez Hilton, accuse Justin Baldoni of manipulating the actress. The court document reads,

"Baldoni has tried to manipulate, threaten, control and otherwise act inappropriately towards Miss Ferrer."

Isabella's lawyer also accuses Baldoni of harassing Isabela Ferrer and trying to "draw her deeper into litigation and disputes she has done her best to avoid."

The document also adds,

"Baldoni refused to honor contractual obligations unless Miss Ferrer agreed to certain demands."

This comes after Justin Baldoni, in a recently filed lawsuit against Lively, claimed that Lively urged their It Ends with Us costars to "shun" him in his lawsuit. Isabela Ferrer played the younger version of Lively's character Lily in flashbacks.

What has Justin Baldoni said about Isabela Ferrer

Isabela Ferrer reportedly unfollowed Justin Baldoni on social media accounts and did not appear with him during the movie's promotion and premiere events. As per Baldoni's lawsuit,

"The unfollowing of Baldoni by cast members and even the author of the book was in start contrast to the warm praise and appreciation cast members had until that point always showered on him."

The suit also attaches screenshotted texts from Ferrer to Baldoni, where the former can be seen thanking the latter "for an incredible experience" on her first feature film. She also thanked Baldoni for creating "such a comfortable, safe space for me to feel like I could fully step into this role" and that she "coudln't have asked for a more welcoming environment."

Justin Baldoni's team struggles to subpoena Isabela Ferrer

As per court papers obtained by US Weekly, Justin's legal team revealed they're having a hard time locating the actress, who is a material witness to the suit. Justin's team wishes to serve Isabela a subpoena and demand that she hand over

"all documents relating to any discriminatory, harassing, retaliatory, inappropriate or unwelcome action, conduct or statement" made during production or afterward.

Baldoni's team also wants Isabela to hand over her communications with Blake, Justin, and his business partner. In his motion, Baldoni explained that Ferrer's lawyer has not responded to the subpoena.

He noted that a process server went out on several occasions in early August to serve Ferrer at an address, which his team believes to be Ferrer's address. However, his team added, "It appears that none of the persons present at the Brooklyn location were familiar with Isabela Ferrer."
