Shortly after People reported that Bella Thorne and Benjamin Mascolo had ended their one-year engagement, Mascolo appeared to confirm the split with a statement on Instagram. According to E! News, the singer reflected on their relationship, writing about meeting “the most beautiful human being” three years earlier and calling it “a humbling experience to grow with her on my side.”
In his post, Mascolo admitted,
“Only God know how many hearts I’ve broken and how many people I’ve hurt selfishly following my ego, of all the things I could and should do better, and of that I take full responsibility, for all my sins and mistakes — but I know now it was all part of a bigger plan that guided to where I am today," he shared

According to People, Bella Thorne moved on with a new romance three months after ending her engagement to Benjamin Mascolo. The actress began dating film and television producer Mark Emms, best known for Netflix’s Bad Vegan docuseries. A source close to the couple told the outlet,
“It’s new, and they’re having fun. They’ve been dating for about a month.”
Recently, as reported by Page Six, Thorne surprised Mark Emms with a proposal of her own, despite the pair already being engaged. She uploaded her act of romance on Instagram, where she posted clips of herself kneeling in a room decorated with flowers, candles, and red heart-shaped balloons.
