Nobody 2 focuses on Hutch Mansell (played by Bob Odenkirk), who used to be an assassin for the government. After clearing off his debts, Mansell realizes that his relationship with his family has suffered. So he decides to go on a family trip with his wife, Becca Mansell (Connie Nielsen). There, he is confronted by a set of people.

Toward the end, Lendina (Sharon Stone) gets Abel killed for her behavior. Meanwhile, Hutch teams up with Wyatt Martin (John Ortiz) to wipe out her henchmen. However, Wyatt recovers a bullet while David is knocked out. This allows Lendina to fire at Hutch. Becca puts out a dart in her eyes at that exact moment.

David Mansell (Christopher Lloyd) wakes up and detonates the park, which leads to Lendina and her team getting killed. All this while, Hutch and Becca, along with their wolf dog, are getting questioned at a dingy hangar.

As Nobody 2 inches towards an end, both Hutch and Becca are set free from police custody. This happens due to Hutch's deep connections with the police as well as the mafia. The exact identity of the person who sets them loose is not revealed. But it can be conjectured that they are related to Barber (Colin Salmon), who used to be Hutch's government handler.

Barber had given him input regarding Plumerville in the film's beginning. He may want Hutch to go scott-free because if he gets caught and spills secrets, it's Barber himself who will be exposed.

The ending of Nobody 2 makes it clear that Hutch still owes a debt to the government, which means that he will need to do more missions in the future. This sets the stage for a potential third installment. The last scene of the film showcases the family looking at their vacation album, where two dog pictures have been added.

In a potential follow-up, we can see Hutch going on yet another mission to clear off his debt. Meanwhile, the makers can also focus on David's life as a retired Federal agent. While Hutch has wiped out an entire gang, someone connected to them might return to seek revenge.
