While fans were already enjoying the Camp Rock reunion at the Jonas 20: Greetings From Your Hometown concert at MetLife Stadium on August 10, Joe Jonas dropped another big hint, this time about a possible Camp Rock 3, leaving fans in excitement.
In a recent Hot Ones Versus video uploaded by First We Feast titled Joe Jonas vs. Nick Jonas vs. Kevin Jonas, the Jonas Brothers were asked to read their last notes app entry. Joe Jonas, who decided not to eat the spicy wings, said in the video:
"Read Camp Rock 3."
Nick was visibly surprised by Joe’s answer, and Kevin broke into laughter right after.
Adding to his answer, Joe Jonas said:
"It's the truth. It's literally right here (referring to the phone screen). Sorry, Disney."
While fans are delighted with the news of a possible Camp Rock return with a third part, Disney has not officially announced or confirmed the project yet, leaving it to speculation.
The first Camp Rock movie starring the Jonas Brothers and Demi Lovato as Mitchie Torres was released in 2008. Two years after the release, Disney released a sequel to the movie titled Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam starring Lovato and the brothers. The movie was a great success among Disney fans.
Demi Lovato explains how Joe Jonas got her to perform with them
Fans from all around the world loved Demi's surprise appearance at the Jonas Brothers' concert on August 10. Remembering how she was invited to perform with them, she said in the Chicks in the Office podcast on Tuesday:
"Honestly, Joe just asked me last week, was like, ‘Hey, what are you doing next weekend? Or on the 10th, we would love to have you come and perform ‘This Is Me’ and ‘Wouldn’t Change a Thing.’ You’ve been a huge part of our journey and vice versa. So he was like, ‘This show is really important to us, and we would love to have you there.’ And it was so nice."
Adding to the statement, she said:
"And like I said, it was so healing for me too. We’ve been through so much together, all of us, the Jonas Brothers and I. And it was really, really great to like, spend time with them. It was really cool."
Lovato attended the concert with her husband, Jutes, whom she recently married in May. The Jonas Brothers and Demi Lovato performed two of their Camp Rock songs, titled This Is Me and Wouldn't Change A Thing, reviving the Camp Rock memories.
Fans are now wondering if performing the Camp Rock songs was a subtle hint about a third movie or just Joe playfully teasing them in the Hot Ones Versus video.
