Steve Glenn Martin has starred in several comedy films and television shows. His first debut film was “Another Nice Mess” in 1972. He starred in films such as The Jerk, Dead Men Don't Wear Plaid, The Man with Two Brains, All of Me, Three Amigos, Roxanne, Planes, Trains and Automobiles, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, and so on.


From 1968 to 1969, Martin began writing for the television show Smothers Brothers Comedy Hour. Since then, he has played various parts on Saturday Night Live (1976–2022), The Muppet Show (1977), and The Sonny & Cher Comedy Hour (1971–1972).


Martin co-hosted the Academy Awards with Alec Baldwin in 2001, 2003, and 2010. His 2008 appearance on 30 Rock earned him a nomination for the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Guest Actor in a Comedy Series. He co-starred with Selena Gomez and Martin Short in the mystery-comedy series Only Murders in the Building on Hulu since 2021.
