Maxie fainted after applying some Deception cream to her face. A medic suggested that she had had a heart attack. Lucy told the paramedics that Maxie had had a transplant a long time ago.

Meanwhile, Carly recapped getting rid of Dr. Obrecht from the Metro Court to Lulu at the rooftop pool. Carly did concede that Dr. O. appeared to care about Rocco. She appeared open to giving people a second chance, but then changed her mind upon seeing Nina.

Carly confronted Nina and told her she could go from the parking lot to the Crimson office, but the rest of the Metro Court was off-limits. She blasted Nina for sleeping with Drew. Nina countered that she wasn't the first person to sleep with Drew. Carly pointed out that her daughter wasn't involved with Drew at the time.

Carly insisted that if Nina had told Willow the truth, she'd still have her kids. Nina pointed out that Michael had a baby (Daisy) with another woman (Sasha). Carly countered that Michael took full responsibility for that.

Nina reminded Carly that she hired a lady of the evening to drug Drew. She added that Carly knew about Willow being her daughter and kept that a secret. Nina lunged at Carly but then ended up falling into the pool.

Nina passed on taking a towel from Gio when she got out of the pool. Nina accused Carly of nearly breaking her neck. Carly announced that Nina and Willow were never getting near her grandchildren.

Meanwhile, Michael arrived at Sonnny's, surprised to see Diane there. Diane said she wanted to find a way to find a way to keep Michael out of jail and to keep Sonny from having to cave to Drew's blackmail. Michael explained that he wouldn't hit Drew in front of Wiley. But Diane said that Michael asking Tracy to take Wiley away shows that he planned to strike his uncle. Michael shared with Sonny and Diane his theory that Willow was responsible for the incidents involving Daisy, but he couldn't prove it.

Michael said Stella, Tracy, and Martin saw Drew talking to Wiley. Diane noted that none of these eyewitnesses would help their case, given their bias against Drew or connections to Michael. Diane said they needed to find someone who saw Drew talking to Wiley.

At the hospital, Elizabeth suggested that Drew go to urgent care to get his eye checked. Drew threatened legal action against the hospital if he wasn't seen. Liz quipped that the General Hospital lawyers would get to him faster than the doctors would. Drew said he wanted to document his injury so that Michael could be declared an unfit father and Willow could get her kids. Knowing this, Liz backed down and said Drew's visit would be documented.

As Anna left a voicemail for Jack, Justine arrived and asked Anna to open an investigation into Drew. Anna wanted details, but Justine wasn't ready to share them. Anna asked Justine if she was backing away from Sonny. Justine noted that Sonny was a criminal and he needed to go down, but so did Drew.

Next, Drew showed up, glad to see Justine there. He announced that he'd been the victim of a crime. Drew recapped his version of Michael's attack on him. Anna tried to downplay it, but Drew persisted. Justine noted that assault is assault. She asked for a statement and evidence. Justine said this was a misdemeanor that could rise to felony assault. However, she cautioned Drew that she only had his side of the story. Justin and Diane separately said that the case will come down to witnesses. Drew maintained that Michael assaulted him.

Vaughn comforted a distraught Josslyn in the shower. They moved back into their room and undressed each other out of their wet clothes. After they had sex, Joss got out of bed. Vaughn asked her if she was having second thoughts. Turning to their mission, Joss said that if she and Vaughan leave now, their operation could go underground. Vaughan wondered if Britt had spotted Josslyn. She noted that Britt saved her life once before, so she couldn't imagine Britt wanting to harm her now. Josslyn felt their next move should be to talk to Britt.

Vaughn said that another assassin would be on the way soon, so they had to hurry. Joss agreed with Vaughn's idea that they take shifts sleeping in case another assassin showed up at their door. Vaughn loaded his gun and sat in front of the door.

Felicia gave Drew documentation that he'd been at General Hospital, which showed his black eye had been attended to. After he left, Liz gave Lucas the dish on how Drew got a shiner. Then, paramedics arrived with Maxie. Felicia was greatly concerned to see her daughter on a stretcher.

While Lucas and a medical team worked on Maxie at General Hospital, Lucy arrived and comforted Felicia. She assured her friend that Maxie would be okay. Spinelli arrived in a panic, asking where Maxie was.

Lulu arrived to comfort Spinelli. She called Emma to see if she could watch Maxie's kids. A worried Spinelli broke down. Brook Lynn insisted that Maxie would pull through. Meanwhile, the medical team continued to work on Maxie. Lucas administered the paddles to Maxie, hoping to get her heart started again. In between shocks, Liz resumed manual compressions. Lucas hit her again with the paddles. Maxie flatlined. Liz looked at Lucas with great concern.

Lulu comforted Spinelli, who said he wouldn't know what to tell the kids if the worst happened. Flora asked Brook Lynn if she wanted to be with her friends. She thought it was best that she stay away from Lulu.

Lucas joked that he'd let Maxie plan his wedding if she came out of this. He used the paddles again. Then, Maxie's heart began beating. Liz noted it was normal sinus rhythm (NSR) once again. Next, Lucas informed Maxie's family and loved ones that she was stable. He explained that the crisis had passed, but they had to wait for Maxie to wake up.

Brook Lynn called Lucas aside. He asked about the cream she was demonstrating. Lucy didn't think the cream was the cause of her heart attack, as she and others had used it before without anyone suffering ill effects.

Jason showed up in Britt's room. "Jason, what are you doing here?" Britt asked. Jason quipped that Britt was pretending to be dead, so he understood why she didn't reach out. He recapped seeing her boarding a plane in Paris. She asked what took him so long. Jason shared that there must be a reason she was in hiding, and he wanted to respect it. Jason suggested that Leisl had no idea that Britt was alive.

Britt congratulated Jason on finding her and said he could go home. "I'm never going back to Port Charles again," Britt said, adding that she couldn't go back to Paris either. "C'est La Vie," she quipped.

Jason asked Britt if she was in danger. Britt mused that Jason must be sick of helping her. She recounted him helping her through the Huntington's disease diagnosis, but then he left and married Carly.

Britt remembered how Jason came crawling back after Sonny came back. She gave him credit for rescuing her mother, Leisl, in the adventure that nearly took Jason's life. She added that he could not imagine the grief and guilt she felt when she thought Jason had died. "Here you stand very much alive," Britt said. "So are you," Jason stated. He asked her how she survived Heather's attack.

Jason explained that he got out of the cave, but he was picked up by the FBI. He made a deal to be an informant for the feds. Britt figured out that Jason did it for Carly. "They may twist and turn, but in the end, all roads lead back to Carly, don't they?" Britt mused.

Jaosn asked how Britt survived. Britt was not as forthcoming with details of her escape from death. The good doctor told Jason that he didn't deserve a thing from her. She revealed that she stood at his grave and forgave him. Then, Britt called Jason a selfish son of a bitch.

Britt told Jason not to compare their situations. "I will not let you tear down the life I have built," said Britt. She revealed that her disease was in remission. Jason asked for details, but she said he didn't have the right to ask. Next, Britt told Jason that he could leave. She quipped that he was good at walking out on her. Jason told Britt that the WSB had the resort tagged and that she was in danger.

Britt quipped that Jaosn had become paranoid from working with Sonny. She noted that the only danger she was in would be from staying in the resort's hot tub for too long. Jason surmised that Britt had had help to fake her death. Britt said that he had no idea what she was capable of doing. Jason offered to save Britt. She told him she didn't need saving, but she could handle things herself if she needed to. She ordered him out.

After Jason exited, Britt got on her phone and said into the receiver, "We have a problem, and we need to put a stop to it immediately."
