Australian pop-punk duo Teenage Joans are officially heading out on their first solo headlining tour in two years in late 2025. The newly announced "My Heart's Dead!" tour will run through October and November. The run has been designed to support their latest single of the same name.
The announcement comes after a relatively busy year for the Adelaide-based act. Teenage Joans are an Australian punk duo featuring vocalist-guitarist Cahli Blakers and drummer Talia Enright. Bursting onto the scene in the late 2010s, they quickly carved out a place in the country’s vibrant punk landscape with their raw energy and infectious sound.
Their debut album, The Rot That Grows Inside My Chest, was officially dropped in 2023. It was followed by touring alongside acts like Foo Fighters, Sum 41, Sleeping With Sirens, and The Chats. 2024 saw the duo co-headline a national tour with Between You & Me and appear on triple j's Like A Version for the first time.
This year, they have released two singles so far: "Sweet & Slow" in April and "My Heart's Dead!" in August. These were both recorded with producer Jared Nettle. The pair debuted it live on release day while supporting Canadian band PUP in Brisbane.
The upcoming headline run will be Teenage Joans' only solo shows of 2025. Adelaide duo Towns will serve as main support for the tour. Melbourne emo band Bukowski will open all shows except Brisbane, where local skate-punk band Talk Heavy will take their place.
