Knowa De Baraso has teamed up with iHeart and Reasoned Choice Media for his podcast series Now You Know with Knowa De Baraso. The 13-year-old became popular during the last US presidential campaign for his interviews with different media outlets during the Democratic National Convention.

After kicking off his podcast series on July 30 by interviewing Mia Thornton of Real Housewives of the Potomac and Incognito, the Gen Alpha is widening his horizon by collaborating with a major media house.

The young media personality revealed in an interview with Variety published on August 16, 2025, that he has spent months on his podcast series and sharpening his interview skills.

De Baraso, who is homeschooled, revealed in his Variety interview that he doesn’t expect his podcast to be only about politics:

“It will not be a 100% politics-focused podcast.”

He added that the series would also lean towards pop culture and merge entertainment with politics:

"There will be a lot of politics with a pop culture background as well. And we’re going to talk to guests with all different sorts of backgrounds. This is not about advocacy. It’s going to be a very great way to merge entertainment and politics at the same time.”

De Baraso shared that alienating youngsters his age from political discourse wasn't ideal. The podcast host explained that they hoped to influence the younger generation to exercise their voting rights

“I think by that is alienating young people by itself. Podcasts like mine will get people out to vote. I think that’s going to be great and very crucial in the next election — listening to these entertainment voices and getting their young audiences out to vote.”

Knowa De Baraso is still a boy at heart. The teenager revealed to Variety Magazine that in his spare time, he played Roblox and checked for new movies:

“I play Roblox. I like to play games, and I like to stay safe while doing it. I check Variety and I see what new movies are out.”

In her statement to Variety, Angela Rye, activist and leader of Reasoned Choice Media, described Baraso as wise beyond his years.

She added:

“I am so encouraged by his interest in the political process and what our collective obligation is to change it for our good.”
