YouTuber and Twitch streamer Duke Dennis is rumored to have declined a streaming session with Drake. The news came about after the X account “DegenClips” posted a video of Dennis from a livestream, where he discussed why he didn’t like to collab with people for streaming sessions. The account captioned the post, “Duke Dennis reveals why turned down a stream with Drake, says way too many rappers dm him for streams and that he's tired of being famous.”

However, it is noteworthy that Dennis did not mention Drake in the clip even once. Additionally, social media users noted that his comments had no connection to the Canadian rapper. One X user (@jaymadetv) wrote:

“He didn’t say anything about Drake but you still got people in the comments acting like he was talking about Drake.”

Another online commentator (@HMKAaron) mentioned:

“he didn’t turn down a stream w drake… that’s Degen clips trynna bait for engagement.”

This wasn’t the first time that rumors about a possible collaboration between the two came about. On March 25, the rapper posted a photo with Duke Dennis on Instagram, writing:

“And when I drop the next heater…new money might be my only feature.”

As per reports, fans speculated that the post could indicate an upcoming album. Duke Dennis was previously seen in music videos. In 2023, he released an album and a single, "DeeBlock General." On August 29, 2024, Drake posted a carousel on Instagram, and one of the photos featured Dennis. However, there is nothing pointing to Duke Dennis turning down a stream with Drake.

Duke Dennis talks about why he didn’t like collaborating with others and looks back on his recent arrest

In the X video, Duke Dennis shared that many people asked him to join his livestreams, but he often wondered what they would even talk about. He explained that good chemistry was important, and he couldn’t just force a long conversation. In real life, he usually didn’t talk to people unless they spoke to him first, no matter who they were, even if it was someone famous.

Earlier this month, the streamer was taken into custody after he allegedly played hide-and-seek at a San Antonio mall. He reportedly took part in the game after the mall was closed for business for the day. According to NBC News, although he was instructed by police officials to exit the premises, he didn’t comply with the orders.

During a recent live stream, Duke Dennis said he was happy to be back and he missed his fans, his house, and his bed. He said:

“I had to take a break from streaming, doing YouTube, doing content. Had to take a break from social media, people, just life in general. I dead a** needed a break, bro. I couldn't, bro. It was a lot going on, bro.”

Duke Dennis explained that his arrest was a big misunderstanding and poor communication. He said jail was not a place he would ever want anyone to experience. He also shared that making content was never so important to him that he would risk his freedom or end up in jail for it.
