Diddy is still facing lawsuits, even after his highly publicized s*x trafficking trial. Dawn Richard's abuse lawsuit is one of them. Richards had testified against Diddy during his trial and mentioned that she had a pending civil lawsuit against the former rapper. In the latest update to Dawn Richard's complaint, she and her team have removed 10 of Diddy's companies "without prejudice".

The ten companies that were removed from the list include:

  • Bad Boy Records LLC
  • Daddy's House Recording Studio
  • Bad Boy Entertainment LLC
  • UMG Recordings Inc.
  • Sean Combs Capital LLC
  • Bad Boy Productions Holdings Inc.
  • Bad Boy Entertainment Holdings LLC
  • Bad Boy Books Holdings Inc.
  • CE OpCo LLC (formerly Combs Enterprises)
  • 1169 Corp (formerly Sean Combs Music Inc.)

Even after removing these 10 companies, Dawn is still targeting three of Diddy's companies. These include Love Records Inc., Publishing LLC, and Janice Combs Publishing Holding. Additionally, since the others were removed "without prejudice," Richards can bring them back to the case later, if needed.

How did Diddy's legal team respond to Dawn Richard's abuse lawsuit?

Diddy's legal team says they don't mind the changes but continue to deny all her allegations. In a letter to Judge Katherine Polk Failla, they have denied these claims and said that they are not backing down. Additionally, they believe that her complaint is already weak because she dropped one of the trafficking claims.

In the $3.5 million lawsuit, Dawn Richards is accusing Diddy of groping her, forcing her to strip during rehearsals, as well as sleep deprivation, starving her, and not paying her for her work. She also claimed that Diddy allegedly threatened her and others that they could "go missing" if they told anyone about what was happening.

Former Da Band member, Sara Rivers, also filed a $60 million s*xual assault case against the rapper. However, the judge ruled it out since the cases were older than 20 years old. In the lawsuit, Rivers accused Diddy of s*xual assault, forced labor, as well as false imprisonment.

Diddy's legal troubles are not yet over, with Dawn Richard’s lawsuit adding to the dozens of cases already stacked against him. While 10 of his companies have been temporarily removed from her complaint, she still has the option to reinstate them in the future, if required. Diddy's legal team continues to deny the allegations, but they also mentioned that they are not backing down from the fight. Three of his companies are still in Dawn Richard's complaint.
