Recently, on August 16, 2025, Theo Von, the comedian and podcaster, was performing at the Honda Center in Anaheim during a stand-up show when an altercation took place inside the arena.
As per TMZ, a female audience member appeared intoxicated and became disruptive. She was near the stage where Theo was performing, and was constantly on her phone. Theo and security tried to stop her, but when she didn’t, security had to escort her out of the arena.
The situation was under control and handled pretty well, and the show was able to go on without further chaos.
What happened at Theo Von's show?
During Theo Von's show on Saturday, a woman in the crowd kept heckling Theo Von and using her phone during the show. Security asked her multiple times to stop or to leave, but the woman didn’t listen to them.
As per reports, Theo paused his performance twice to check what was happening and addressed the situation calmly. He then offered the woman a refund through his assistant if she just left the arena quietly. When the woman did not listen and leave the center, the security had to escort her out.
According to Complex, while the woman was being taken out by the security, she reportedly punched another fan. Theo stayed calm and even joked with the crowd to keep the atmosphere light. He said:
''Don’t sue me. I’m in a fucking wheelchair.''
Theo handled the heckler patiently and professionally, relying on security to keep things safe during his performance. A similar incident took place at Theo's show back in May, while he was performing at the Twelve Thirty Club in Nashville.
During that show, a man with balloons approached him. Apparently, the man was harassing Theo for quite some time. During that show, things had escalated, and a video of Theo pushing the man away by the throat circulated on social media.
Theo hosts the This Past Weekend podcast, and his comedy specials and albums include Regular People, 30lb Bag of Hamster Bones, and No Offense. He also appeared as a contestant in several reality television series, including the 2008 Reality Bites Back, Real World/Road Rules Challenge: Fresh Meat, Last Comic Standing, Live at Gotham, and as a panelist on America's Prom Queen.
Currently, he is touring across North America and performing his Return of the Rat Tour, which includes a stop in Calgary later this month.
