Love Island USA star Olandria Carthen appeared on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen on August 14, 2025. Along with her, Nicolas Vansteenberghe, Amaya, and Brian were also there on the show.
With Nic sitting beside her, Olandria shared her thoughts on how he supports her. She mentioned that she was happy and "blessed" to have Nic, who allowed her to be "soft." Despite being a "control freak," Olandria said she lets Nic do everything.
The Love Island USA star also shared her thoughts on "black women," and more, while on the show.
"You know, so after all of that, I was like, you know what, I'm so happy that I'm...was blessed with this guy who allows me to bask in my femininity. You know what I mean? Allows me to be soft. You know what? He takes the wheel. Usually, I'm a control freak. I let him do everything, you know," shared Olandria.

During her time on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, Olandria faced a question regarding representing black women and living a softer life. In response to that, Love Island USA star revealed how she has been getting support from Nic and how her time in the villa went.
The question that Olandria faced was:
"So many women, especially black women, related to you talking about how strong you've always had to be, and I just want to know, is there anything that you're doing forward to encourage you living a softer life?"
In response, she said, while on the show, she had to put on "a strong suit." It was because she was representing not just herself, but also black women from across the world.
"I truly feel like before we came into this world, black women already had a label. They're so quick to label us...label us as like angry black women," said Olandria.
Further, Love Island USA star Olandria shared her thoughts on how one moment of weakness became the thing that she gets judged for. However, she clarified that that was not the "real her."
"What about when I was poised in situations I should have acted out in? Like, what about those moments? You were so quick to label me when that moment of weakness, and that's not fair," added Olandria.
Further, Olandria shared that she was "so happy" and "blessed" to have Nic. She also recalled the time when she wanted to go to Europe, and they went there; she wanted to be a model. While she was in shoots, the support she got from Nic was "unreal."
She admitted that with such support from him, it allowed her to be the "soft woman" she had always wanted to be. For that, she was grateful.
Listening to Olandria expressing how Nic treats her, Andy told her she deserved it. He added that Nic treated her like the queen she was.
