After a triumphant first chapter, Ang Mutya ng Section E Season 2 (The Dark Side) is on its way, and the release date is not too far away. Yes, you read it right!
If you've been waiting to dive back into Section E of HVIS and Jay-jay's life after accepting Keifer's feelings while engaged to Yuri, then mark your calendars as Ang Mutya ng Section E Season 2 will arrive on November 21, 2025. It will follow the second book, where dark secrets will be uncovered.
Titled "The Dark Side", the Season 2 release date was recently confirmed by the cast of the hit Filipino drama during the grand fancon, Vivarkada. The event took place in the Philippines, where fans met all their favorite star from acclaimed Viva One TV shows.
Viva One has also shared a new teaser of the upcoming Season, which reveals some new faces and warns that "The Ghost of the past will haunt the present". As a big fan myself, it gave me chills, and I'm sure each fan is as excited to watch how things unfold.
Ang Mutya ng Section E Season 2 confirmed release date and new cast members explored
As previously mentioned, Ang Mutya ng Section E Season 2 has been confirmed to be released on Friday, November 21, 2025, on Viva One. This announcement was made by none other than Andres Mulach, the leading cast member who plays Mark Keifer Watson.
What's even more exciting is that the globally acclaimed series will not just bring back the old faces but also introduce fans to some new ones, who are sure to stir drama. So, here's a list of the new cast members in Season 2:
1) Joko Diaz as Kaizer Watson
Role: Keifer's dad
Filipino actor Joko Diaz has joined the cast of Ang Mutya ng Sectin E Season 2 as Kaizer Watson, the rude and cold father of Keifer. In the teaser, he can be heard saying, "Do not disrespect me", which suggests how strict Father Kaizer might be.
In Season 1, Keifer hated to talk about him and was even going to hit Yuri when he compared Keifer to Kaizer. His arrival is also expected to reveal how he treated Keigan, due to which he loses control.

2) Nathalie Hart as Serina Watson
Role: Keifer's mother
Another new key character to be introduced in the upcoming Ang Mutya ng Section E Season 2 is Serina Watson, who, unlike Kaizer, is soft towards her sons. In the teaser, Serina can be heard saying "Revenge is not the answer", something that she tells Keifer in the book when he complains.
3) Billy Villeta as Dylan
Role: Professional hitman
In the book, The Dark Side, Dylan is a professional hitman whom Jay-jay challenged. She didn't know that the man in a black suit and a gun, whom she screamed at, was a real hitman and that he could have harmed her.
Keifer, Yuri, and Aries are all present during that moment, asking Jay to keep her calm. Not only this, the scene is also expected to feature Kaizer Watson.
4) Austin Dizon is Jason
Role: Ram's brother
Austin Dizon has joined Ang Mutya ng Section E Season 2 as Jason. He's Ram's brother, but not that close to him. When Jay-Jay asks Jason about Ram and the gang in his area, he explains it to her.
Jason mentions that there are a few gangs, and each has a leader until you reach the top. This is also when Jason mentions Sato, one of the gang's leaders and Yuri's rival. Jay-jay learned about Sator before and knows that he also wants her dead.
5) Jeffrey Hidalgo as Andy Estrada
Role: Jay-jay's mother's fiancé
Actor Jeffrey Hidalgo will be seen playing Andy, Jay-jay's mother's fiancé. When her mother introduces Jay-jay to Andy, she's not very excited, but Yuri is the one who extends his hand.
In the teaser of Ang Mutya ng Section E Season 2, Andy can be heard saying, "I'm not trying to force you to me like your father, but please learn the word respect". This suggests that Andy might want to respectful relationship between him and Jay-jay.
6) Taneo of Alamat as Sato
Role: Yuri's rival and gang leader
The next key character in Ang Mutya ng Section E Season 2 is Sato. He's the son of a rich Yakuza family and is half Filipino, half Japanese. Sato is the leader of a dangerous gang.
He can be heard saying "All I want is Yuri, Keifer and their gang. You're going to die". This clearly explains how evil Sato might be and his desire to kill the entire opposing gang.
7) Rhen Escaño as Honey Bee Ryder
Role: Keifer's secretary
Actress Rhen Escaño has also joined Ang Mutya ng Section E Season 2, and she will be playing Honey Bee Ryder. Fans who read the book must know how much Honey loves herself. She says, "People like me are rare. I'm one of a kind", just like Escaño says in the teaser.
She's the lawyer's niece, who might end up becoming Keifer's secretary. It might look like Honey Bee Ryder is a threat to Jay and Keifer's relationship, but she's actually not.
So, the above-mentioned characters are the ones fans will see in the upcoming season. While some want revenge, others just want to make their lives better.
