James Gunn created the superhero TV series Peacemaker, which is based on the DC Comics character. It stars John Cena and follows Chris Smith, also known as Peacemaker, following the events of The Suicide Squad 2021.
In season one, Peacemaker joins Project Butterfly, a clandestine organization, to battle alien parasites.
