What is King Of The Hill Season 14 about?
King of the Hill Season 14 is set eight years after the Season 13 finale, in a drastically changed and present-day Arlen, Texas. In the Pilot, it was established that both Hank and Peggy moved to Saudi Arabia after the Season 13 finale to make money for their retirement. The revival premiere followed their return and the subsequent adjustment to life in a changed Texas.
The revival also brought back iconic main characters from the sitcom, namely Hank’s friends – conspiracy theorist Dale, barber Bill & cool Boomhauer, and Peggy's friends Minh and Nancy, who help the couple navigate a changed world.
King of the Hill Season 14 also saw a grown-up Bobby, a college dropout who now works as a head chef at a Japanese-German-American fusion restaurant. While Bobby defied every expectation Hank had from his son, the revival series saw them reconnect as father and son.
The characters in the revival series have significantly aged, but fans appreciated the show for maintaining the true essence of the sitcom, evoking a nostalgic feel among long-time fans.
