"The fiercest Asian queens": Drag Race Philippines: Slaysian Royale host Paolo Ballesteros welcomes everyone for an "extra special season"

Drag Race Philippines: Slaysian Royale will premiere on August 13, 2025. Hosted by Paolo Ballesteros, the reality show features former Drag Race Philippines contestants competing against Asian contestants of various franchises.

Ahead of the show's premiere, WOW Presents Plus aired the introduction part featuring the participants. Show host Paolo Ballesteros welcomes everyone while sharing his thoughts on the competition, participating queens, and more.

He referred to the spin-off show as an "extra special season." While welcoming everyone, Drag Race Philippines: Slaysian Royale host stated:

"Welcome to an extra special season of Drag Race Philippines: Slaysian Royale! Thank you for joining us in making Drag Race herstory. For the first time ever, we are uniting the fiercest Asian queens from across the globe to celebrate the beauty, artistry, and undeniable power of Asian drag."

The host added:

"And where better to do it than right here? In the land of fierce fiestas, karaoke battles, and hair as high as our standards...The Philippines!"

Drag Race Philippines: Slaysian Royale: Show host Paolo Ballesteros welcomes the queens

For the upcoming Drag Race Philippines: Slaysian Royale, set to premiere on August 13, 2025, the show aired its first 20 minutes. It featured the introduction of the queens by show host Paolo Ballesteros, aka Mama Pao.

Drag queens, including Arizona Brandy, Bernie, Brigiding, Ivory, Khianna, Kitty Space, Madame Yoko, Siam PhuSri, Suki Doll, Sum Ting Wong, Viñas Deluxe, and Yuhua, were introduced:

1. Arizona Brandy from Drag Race Philippines Season 2,
2. Bernie from Drag Race Philippines Season 2,
3. Brigiding from Drag Race Philippines Season 1,
4. Ivory Glaze from Drag Race Down Under Season 3,
5. Khianna from Drag Race Philippines Season 3,
6. Kitty Space from Drag Race France Season 2,
7. Madame Yoko from Drag Race Belgique Season 2,
8. Siam PhuSri from Drag Race Thailand Season 3,
9. Suki Doll from Canada's Drag Race Season 2,
10. Sum Ting Wong from RuPaul's Drag Race UK Season 1,
11. Viñas Deluxe from Drag Race Philippines Season 1,
12. Yuhua from RuPaul's Drag Race Season 10.

While arriving on stage, Drag Race Philippines: Slaysian Royale host said:

"The tea is hot. The rice is steaming, and the competition spicier than your auntie's secret chili oil. So grab your boba and get ready for the ultimate and fiercest battle of Asian drag excellence."

The first one was Arizona Brandy, who said she was there to "win." Among the next participants, one of them was Brigiding. She talked about Zimba Ding and mentioned she was her "drag daughter." Up next queen was Siam PhuSri from Thailand. Sharing her goal, she said she wanted to become the "best Asian drag queen" and to make her country proud.
