Netflix has confirmed that its latest K-drama, You and Everything Else, is set to premiere on the streaming platform on September 12, 2025. The K-drama will narrate the story of two estranged friends who reunite in their 40s after learning about a problem that one of them is dealing with.
The K-drama will reunite Yumi’s Cells co-stars Park Ji-hyun and Kim Go-eun in a heartwrenching story about friendship, envy, and how the falling apart of a priceless relationship affects a person.

As mentioned, Netflix’s You and Everything Else will depict the story of two childhood friends: Cheon Sang-yeon and Ryu Eun-jung. From them becoming friends to their falling apart, and later reuniting due to Sang-yeon’s cancer news, the K-drama is set to portray a heartbreaking tale.
As per Netflix, the synopsis of You and Everything Else states:
"The story traces their friendship from their school days to their twenties and thirties, showing how their bond changes over time. At 42 years old, they reunite in the face of a profound challenge: Sang-yeon’s battle with cancer. The main focus of the K-drama would be the female bonding, which, from the teaser shared by Netflix, appears to be full of envy and is a kind of conditional friendship that will fall apart eventually, leaving the two characters shattered.
The series will have 15 episodes and is set to premiere on September 12, 2025, exclusively on Netflix.

The new Netflix K-drama, You and Everything Else, brings back Kim Go-eun, in the role of Eun-jung. She has appeared in numerous Netflix K-dramas, with the superhit Little Women being one of them. You might also remember her from Goblin, where she played Eun-tak, the goblin’s bride.
The K-drama also stars Park Ji-hyun as Sang-yeon, the other important character in the storyline. Ji-hyun has appeared with Go-eun in Yumi’s Cells, where they essayed protagonists involved in a love triangle with Ahn Bo-hyun’s character. She has also appeared in numerous popular K-dramas, such as Reborn Rich starring Song Joong-ki, and has also appeared in films like Hidden Face.
The other important character in You and Everything Else is Kim Sang-hak, played by Kim Gun-woo, popular among Netflix subscribers due to his appearance in the critically acclaimed Korean series, The Glory.
